Possum Merino blend. This is a luxury yarn in its natural colourway. Possum provides 55% more warmth than merino. It is a lightweight warm & hard wearing yarn. Hand wash.
The hollow structure of possum fibres means they can trap more air. Because air is a poor conductor of heat, the more air trapped within a fibre and its structure, the more warmth it will retain for the wearer. Fabrics containing Possum are less inclined to pill.
